There are some hilarious versions of these on Pintrosity and indeed it took a few goes to get some of them right.
Basically you blow up a balloon and wrap it in wool dipped in craft glue. Sounds easy right?
Too much glue and it dries with white flaky bits and looks awful. Too little glue and it doesn't stick. Too much wool and glue and the balloon deflates before it had set and caves the wool in with it. Not enough wool and it looks lame.
We got there eventually and maintain, as always, that these are amateur productions!
