I finished stitching down the binding on the whirly gig quilt last night. It for Mum as she loves pink and green together.
By pure coincidence I found this pink and green check fabric for the backing.
This was good fun to make. For the quilting I simply outlined every second whirly gig about a 1/4 inch in from the edge.
I'm sure it will look great on Mums couch as a lap rug.
