Birthday

I blogged this a week ago but it never showed up. It was my birthday last weekend and what better gift for a husband with no ideas to give his newly fanatical quilting wife than a spanking new sewing machine!


I got it Saturday morning and spent all of Saturday afternoon giving it a workout. Milly had a quilt pieced together that she never got around to finishing so I spent the afternoon whipping it up.


Pretty much the moment I finished it I got an email from friends announcing the birth of their son! So I'll package this quilt up and send it off.
