Alas the monster quilt was finished in time but not yet delivered. The birthday has been and gone and yet I am gallivanting in Sydney with my sisters and unable to deliver it. I will remedy that as soon as I return home.
Here it is being squished through my domestic sewing machine. This is my Mums old Pfaff which she recently passed on to me and I must confess it is divine. If no one tells Richard, I'll even confess that it is so much nicer than the new one I just HAD to have at the end of last year!

I managed to find backing fabric with monsters on it in a brushed cotton so it is deliciously soft and warm for snuggling into.
