Good Grief, Not More Pants?!

So after my dalliance with skirts I have returned to the pants. I got a very nice pattern off my sister and have upped the mark by adding pockets! Tres classy!

These car pants are for a friends little boy. The animal ones below are for William.

The front pocket on this one is mounted too high. I'll probably unpick it and move it down.

I have a little shadow who is most insistent about photographing my stuff when I do.

Vintage Red & White Quilt

This quilt has been finished for some time but I forgot to blog it. It's a block design my sister made up and each block uses exactly 1 fat quarter. I added the sashing, cornerstones and pinwheels to my design.

We visited the lovely Calico and Ivy in Perth where I bought these delicious vintage red and white fabrics.

I backed it in red polka dot and bound it in solid red.

Chicken Door Stop

I am currently working on a quilt for a friend, but as she is a reader of this blog I can't put any pics up until after she has her babies.

In the meanwhile, here is a chicken!

Monsters Inc finished

Alas the monster quilt was finished in time but not yet delivered. The birthday has been and gone and yet I am gallivanting in Sydney with my sisters and unable to deliver it. I will remedy that as soon as I return home.

Here it is being squished through my domestic sewing machine. This is my Mums old Pfaff which she recently passed on to me and I must confess it is divine. If no one tells Richard, I'll even confess that it is so much nicer than the new one I just HAD to have at the end of last year!

I managed to find backing fabric with monsters on it in a brushed cotton so it is deliciously soft and warm for snuggling into.
